Mountain View Bible Church exists because of God and our purpose is to glorify Him through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Our goal is to do this by building up the Body of Christ (edification) while reaching out to the lost (evangelism).
Mountain View holds to a historically orthodox, fundamentally conservative view of the Christian fatih. We believe that the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, sufficient in all matters of faith and practice, in the sovereignty of God, and in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone for the forgiveness of sin. The necessity for evangelism is also a very high priority to us. Therefore, our theology holds to the essential beliefs that drove the reformation.
Our preaching style is expository and inductive. About 90% of the time we preach through books of the Bible. Our desire is to let the Scriptures read us, rather than us merely reading them.
